life drawing was my favourite occupation at school
and as a student nurse I used to enjoy drawing and
attempting to get a likeness of my patients in quieter
moments! As I became more skilled and experienced
as a nurse my responsibilities removed any time for ‘time
wasting!’ It was great when I was ‘allowed’ again – in
a class incidentally that I paid for – to take
the time to focus and re-learn the skills of observation
and recapture something of a models uniqueness and
spirit in 3D.
