Architectural detailed carving is quite a challenge
for me due to being constrained by its conformities and symmetry. For this
reason I chose a relatively stylised design as opposed to a tudor type rose which
for me would feel too clinically perfect. However, it still forced me to improve
my knowledge and skill of tools and techniques required in carving.
